At first glance, one would never know how tough the Devil's Claw (Proboscidia Altiefolia) flower really is. This is a beautiful painting of a vibrant yellow Devil's Claw against an abstract purple and blue background. This flower is native to the Desert Southwest of America. As the fruit dries, it splits into two hooked claw-like halves and is used as a tool by local Native American Indians, hence the name.
