My background in Horticulture drives my love for flowers and the fruit which our earth produces. Learning to farm in South Africa in former years firmly gripped my curiosity.

When painting landscapes, the earth, like the sea is the embodiment of the absolute harshness of nature and it’s innate beauty. My palette knife is guided by the streaking beams of light and rolling shadows.

My seascapes are a delightful mixture of deceit, treachery, life, death, tragedy, and happiness all at the same time. I aim to capture as many of these feelings as possible.
